In Spain, anyone who wants to can be a real estate agent because no diplomas are required. In Catalonia these rules have recently changed. There, someone can only become a real estate agent if they are registered in the Real Estate Agents Register and registration is only possible after training and/or experience requirements, and after meeting the correct insurance policies.
